    The concience
    It’s something only dreamers know
    Something only sane men fear
    The conscience,
    A standing reminder of the lives we lead

    To stand in a world
    Not of this world
    A landscape in the mind
    A patchwork of memories

    They do not die
    They do not sleep
    They only lie in waiting
    And spring into your darkness

    We, being beings of mortal stance
    Fear loss, Fear death
    We will go to the ends of the earth
    So as to depart with a clear soul

    But to know true fear
    True worry and pain
    One must delve into the mind of a lunatic
    They see the world through the eyes of grown men
    Though they understand as children do

    The panic in their minds
    The uncertainties of life
    All the complication of living
    How do they live when sane men die?
