The Crooked COP

Though crimes have increased this year, in good officers don't give up,
Reading the headlines it's always in bold of a bunch of crooked cops,
In every organization or group "es spirit de corps" exists,
But I was not proud to see a cop beat a school kid with his fists.

It's indeed very odd behaviour that those sworn to protect,
Will handle the true law abiding citizen with much disrespect,
I'm sure when stopped by a peace officer when not breaking the law,
Your entitled to an explanation not a beating or broken jaw.

Law breaking and crooked policeman, Mr. Copper, yes you,
Do you not realise that the law is for you too?
Why have you started to beat that man unjustly with big blows,
Flogging him with your nighstick with the punches that you threw.

And I witnessed him taking bribes last week from that drug don,
Paying to run his business free in any location,
Around the city the crooked cop will let you deal for free,
It's disgusting, do something Mr. Mayor, or it will be anarchy .

Unless you are a man of good character do not join the force,
There is enough crooked cops that needs to be 'divorced',
From that position they've sworn to serve with true integrity,
They'll not be able to serve unbiased and responsibly.

I'm sure good policemen are watching those that are fools,
They must never be made to believe their activities are cool,
They'll be busted soon without a doubt,
All must be revealed and nothing left out,
All the bad dealings throughout the years,
The wheeling and dealing without fear.

Stealing of drugs by cops I've seen in headlines,
That's is so outrageous and astonishing to find!
Even though they are not men of infallibility,
Those of strength and character will serve respectably.
