The curious transition of becoming a living zombie

    Loss of scent
Is The easist way to detect
That I am becoming a living zombie
    Which as a mortal
Is one of my strongest senses
    Oh and then the hunger
    To fill the void
    To consume the rock star
    Or the red bull
    The monster
Something to keep the heart beating
    But still completely dead
    And then the dizzying boredom
    Like balancing on a unicycle
With a pillow chair that supports chest and back
But neck uncomfotably staight and strained
High up searching for the next meal
    I am becoming the zombie
    Music faint
    Light bright
    Cold cool
    Everything looks green
    Where's the buzzing coming from?
    Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
    Consume consume consume
    kill the zombie by Decapitation.

This poem uses the analogy of becoming a zombie with periods of extreme depression that I feel in my life. I wonder if those that suffer from depression can relate. I wonder if the creators of Zombie movies might be expressing the same feelings in their artwork.
