    The Dark Mob

    Droves of dark birds
    gathered today
    Starlings, Grackles,
    Red-Winged Blackbirds,
    and Cowbirds stray

    Waves of black move
    from tree to tree
    When they are startled
    all flee

    Their various voices
    singing together
    are eeriely peaceful
    in this wet spring weather

Ahh, spring. Zae and I watched some geese fly over the other day. We need to take a walk and see these things together. I like it!

a nice little piece, mine is watching the morning Dove's scurry away in fear

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
