The Day After Part III of a Poetic Trilogy

After a prayer to God and a good nights sleep
I awake to say thank you Jesus
I realize that the things I was so down about were just small issue's that will go away
It came to my mind that I am important to those that matter like
Jesus who was battered to save me from my sins
So I understand I can begin another day again
I'll think back on my issues of the past and laugh
I have gathered strength to go forward and get back on my path
You know the one he has already destined for me
My yellow brick road of tales untold
Life restoring stories with crazy shouts of Glory
Because I am a part of history so to GOD be the Glory
No special or extraoridinary details of how I prevailed
But knowing deep in my heart that God was a part of my restoration
I have a deep adoration for him
Cause he placed people in my life to help me get through the strife
Some kind of test to see if I have been listening
Misfit No, GOD sent Yes (to someone)

I've come to my senses on the day after
Knowing I may have a few more test to go
before God feels I have proven he can trust me with the desires of my heart
To know for sure I will do my part ensuring that his destined plan for me will come to pass
You see Heaven is my destiny, the place I want to be, the prize of the century
First place, big trophy, giving God all the Glory
The day after can be the biggest bblessing of them all
Cause you wake up again
And as I reach for the sky I don't have to wonder 'why I am here or who I am
No longer a MISFIT Cause GOD has already fit me in

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
