    Im tired of ccraptacular music. This is a soft tribute to the artists who have come before us and have the skill to show us what it really means to sing, and sing with your heart.

    The death of good Music

    Sadly there is no love or emotion,
    Words are strung togethe but hardly carry any emotion,
    In an even emptier ocean,
    Full of craptacluar commotion,
    Whats worse is it even isnt about money any more,
    Poeple are just too damn lazy to put together beautiful sound and their HEART to emplore,

    The potential gift music can bring,
    Which form the gifted, true art springs,
    Why has your soul been lost, why do we not care,
    Why can we not relate to Teddy pendergrass, Toni Braxton, Or any of the great souls who have past on and live high up there,
    Why is it when ray charles sings we DONT GET IT,
    Or the O'jays tell us why Backstabbers arent about it,

    Why is it when Barry White says What am i gonna do to you we dont want to fall in love,
    Even when the great Micheal Jackson sings we just cant seem to get above,
    Our stagnant and passive acceptance of CRAP!
    Its like we are paralyzed by mediocre and need a serious BITCH SLAP!

    WAKE UP PEOPLE! Dont accept this anymore,
    Let music live from the gifted as it is supposed to be,
    Let it live in you as it does in me,
    Dont just Dance when you hear 1 song from micheal, try dancing to a few,
    Best times of your life, i guarantee when you get through,

    Those of you who love RAP, Challenge they who claim to be todays version of great,
    Take them to the 90's and remind them who is boss and whats at stake,
    That goes for you too, those who love country, Jazz and the blues,
    Same for those who love Latin, Reggae and have the mind to choose,
    Please fight, for if we dont music will die,
    And there will be nothing left, our souls used up and dry.

    Wow King... nice words of knowledge; and for rock.. this is exactly what ive been imploring to do.. ive not ran with all my friends in Hollywood in the 80's and 90's... in fact ive stayed in the shadows, and have kept my name out of the limelite until i knew that my due tyme had arrived for just this what you speak of; and now my friend.... Rock will have a new name.. it is I.

    could not agree more - I grew up in the 60s and 70s when music was king - the Beatles, Stones bit we had The Tepmts, 4 Tops, Otis Redding, blues was the main force behind nthe music, then it suddenly dissapered - for the worst

    I know. What irks me is the passiveness of it all. As if no one gives a damn or they are so stricken with fear they are paralysed to speak.
