The Fight

THe room we share, is now a battlefield.
Day and night, cannons are exploding.
Insults are flying like missles to the other side,
our anger reaches the other person.
Either side has losses.
Whether its happiness or love.
We started this fight two long months ago,
and neither of us remebers why.
BUt I know, I can not lose.

Good short poem. Good use of imagery. You are so young, yet you write like a much older person. Keep strong.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
