    Poem Commentary

This poem is about the first time i cut it was not that long ago i stopped cutting tho after a few months.

    The first cut.

    Darkness seeps into my mind.
    Hate snaking around me.
As i turned away from you.
    Mascara running down my cheeks.
    As you turned away.
    Darkness weaving into my thoughts.
As i stared at the cold blade.
    Pushing to my wrist.
Pulling back when i saw the blood.
    The first cut.
The dark spot of blood on my wrist.
    No pain.
    I smiled wacthing the blood,
    Drip down.
    Music blaring in my ears.
    The first Cut.
Smeering the blood on the towel in the bathroom.
    The first cut.
    From what i learned.
The first cut is the worst.
It best part is when the cold blade touchs your skin.
    The first cut.

Very sad but very well written poem. I was drawn in and felt the pain from the first cut. Take it from someone who has experienced pain to the tenth degree, there is absolutely nothing to be gained from self mutilation. You may hurt yourself but the pain you cause your loved ones is devastating. Take care and be safe.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
