    Poem Commentary

    I wrote this Valentine's Day a year ago, so off course the dates a tad off. Tell me what you think.

    The Greatest Feeling

    It's February now,
    Everyone's freaking out,
    But as ever, I seem numbed,
    Left in the dust and dumb,
    Whilst I twiddle my thumbs.

    Truth be told,
    I like when it's cold.
    I resist the drug of love,
    Shoo away the doves,
    And walk away.

    I brush off that cursed heavy dust,
    Keep away the sin of Lust,
    People keep asking,
    Truly appalled,
    Why my tears don't fall. 

    I say it's alright,
    My world's still bright,
    Life goes on, the sun still shines,
    No one know what I love the most,
    The feeling of me, being alone.
