    Poem Commentary

i altered (a cross point) with, the (cross road).

    The Hopeless Dream

       The Hopeless Dream

We traveled along way, away and away,  along each other~ hand in hand.

We went and followed our big dreams..

In vain, wherever we gone, dreams run away from us, and we couldn’t  catch up.

Our dreams looked like mirage,  illusions,  they got farther and further away and melted away.

Dispiritedly, we reached  the cross road.

And, we sat by the, fruitless, chilly tree.

And  begun gathering  our past   memories, so to warm our hearts with.

Love this poem , it's a short journey full of experience , colorful mental pictures , and descriptive exhaustion

I like this poem. However, if you have hope in the Almighty God, he will deliver you and bring resurrection to dreams and destroy illusions.

I can go back to that time (flashback)...I can feel the pain all over again, very touching.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
