    I wrote this soon after I got my first Boyfriend. For about a week I couldn't think of anything but him (now my ex-bf).

    The Love Bug

     I have this little bug crawling
    Now all I'm doing is calling
    "I'M SICK, I'M SICK!"
    It's that little tick
    Called the love bug
    It moves like a slug
    Moving through me day and night
    I've got the love bug bite
    My mind is blank of all but you
    Little bug, SHOO!!
    Now i'm in a nice little slack
    Because of this love bug attack
    My friend said "You've fallen in L-O-V-E"
    HELP ME!!
    Man that little bug
    That hide under my rug
    Now off comes the glove
    I don't wanna be in love

    haha..i actually clicked on this because of the jonas brothers song. i scrollled down to discover thats where you got it from! nice. love the rhyme scheme of YOU and SHOO. goodjob! its like the sunny side of a new love lost. you make the pain sound so innocent. like if someone from a cartoon just lost a boyfriend. i don't mean that in a bad way. i actually really like this.

    I loved this little sing song poem. Funny and so happy go lucky love. Life and love is an experience we haven't alot of control over though, so enjoy. Loved it a 10 from me.

    Thanks, I read this for a creative talents performance. It got tons of laughs.

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
