The Man and the Moon
The Man, you were in love with the moon.
She cherished your heart like no other,
you wondered the skies together in the lands of the spirits.
You wanted to be with her forever,
You were so blind by love, you never saw the trickster wanted the moon for himself.
The Man left the lands of the spirits to catch flowers for his love,
once he tried returning, he found he couldnt.
The Trickster now has the moon for himself,
as you, The Man, howl to the moon to call her name;
But you can never touch her again.
