    The Man

As she looked upon his flowing black hair, her chest pounded with a raging lust.
The man raised his hand to the sun, as he begged to the gods that would never listen, for rain.
Her soul ached for those hands to touch her, making only a dream to ever feel the caress of the man.
As he lowered his eyes in disappointment he gasped, and made the noise only made by a man when breathing his last breath.

I enjoyed the man. It is an expression I can relate to. Much love soldier.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
