The Music ©

My voice is the mouthpiece

My lips are the notes on the page

My arms are the strings of the Violin that is me

A living song to the Ancient of Days

My hands are the sound of thunder

In a distant sky

My fingers are the shining brass

Of trumpets blaring high

The saxophones that are my legs

Are running up and down

The scale of notes my feet engage

The dance of praise renown

I Am the music that God desires to hear

I Am the song of praise and worship

That He wants ministered in His ear

I Am the music that grabs Him by His heart

I Am the song, the sound you see

That unto Him is like art

A symphony of beauty and love going out and up

An instrumental of adoration flowing like a cup

Pouring out into space, I am the song, the music too

That ministers to Him with grace

My voice is the mouthpiece

My lips are the notes on the page

My arms are the strings of the Cello that is me

A living song to the Ancient of Days
