    This was originally published by the International Library of Poetry in a compiliation book called Touch of Tomorrow. I wrote it in 2004, and I hope you all like it.

    The Ocean of Tears
    A hope that's dashed and bleeding
    A dream that always dies
    A nightmare of always wanting
    Hurts you and makes you cry

    A wish that's never fulfilled
    A Dream that can't come true
    Makes your heart start screaming
    And tears your soul in two

    A fight to keep up your spirit
    A struggle deep in your soul
    This battered and barren wasteland
    That constantly takes its toll

    This hope that's slowly dying
    Drops you to your knees in loss
    With this ocean of tears your crying
    I only hope it's worth the cost

    this was really good. it's also really deep and it made me think of the things that have happened in the past that have been hard on me.
