    The Other Woman

You said you love another woman.
But when you touched me it felt so right.
You said you love another woman.
But when you looked at meI saw the light.
You said you love another woman.
But, then you said "you loved me," I sighed with fright.
You said you love another woman.
But when you held me, you held me so tight.
You said you love another woman.
We argued and put up a big fight.
You said you love another woman.
    I gave up the fight.
You said you love another woman.
I thanked her and said goodnight.

I like how u used examples of how love words do not match actions. I also liked towards the end how u realized that it was doing u a favor to not be with this person. This I have experienced, and it is wise to do.

This is a good poem.. It speaks to the truth that we all know and dont want to face. Good job writing and it has a good technique to it.. One of my favorites!

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
