    the pain of love

    i cannot stop this feeling
a heart fluttered to and fro
is this love or lust so thrilling
    only time shall show

i try to stop the rising
of this pain that feels so good
this hurt that is so pleasing
oh how i wish i could

    it seems that only yesterday
    i was young and free
to run, and jump, and skip, and play
    with bandaids on my knees

what goes up must come down; as sure as this shall end
but must i be six feet under till i can rest agian

I can identify with a lot of this...wasn't it only yesterday we were carefree children, and the love we gave was unconditional and unguarded?

Hi, I'm Vincent. I want honesty and I hope you feel the same. I like your poem. Criticism is Grammer and Punctuation is important. I need your opion on a poem called Unconditional Love Thank you Vincent

*Grammar. *opinion. I'm going to check out your poems now.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
