    Poem Commentary

    This is another oldy.

    "The Passer By"

    The Passer By

I see more than the sea shells on the sea shore
I pass by each door with the intention to be more
Than before mentions of street lore complete detours
Through these wars that rage on despite Peace Corps
Deep core? My vision keeps on even through sleep snores
So that I reach more vivid images than when we beseech chords
When each board I see attains a level high enough I seek wards

    Psychiatry, psychology, psychoanalysis,
    Antagonize, scrutinize, implement paralysis
Wash out, clean up, commence the dialysis
Realize, recognize, give way to the amethyst
The blue, the gold, the green, the red, the canvases

This is the vision of mine as the passer by
Sometimes I pass out as I look at the sky
The insight, beyond sight I see and ask why
No one else sees past the black and white
I’m color coded through the left and right
All I see is bright except for bright, it’s extra bright
The next is night, ridden intent on providing electrolytes
To the dry hues of a constricted and congested light
Confess I might, a supernatural suggested contrite

    This is not…

This is my view from lowlands to mountains high
This is my reason to look at the sky, and confound a sigh
This is why, everything I see serves to mystify when I magnify
This is what I envision providing moisture to the canvas dry

This is how I view the world as I am passing by

YEP, this could not be a more perfect veiw of spiritual perception, unless the ghost of what is 'really there' jumped out and said BOO! I totally dig everything you painted on this journey..and I get it, I so get it! The eyes of a true poet are a force to be reckoned with!-you have let us in to you alternative sights, let us see through your big browns..and all a reader can really say to that my dear genius, is thank you.-Maddi

Well I was reading along and thinking of ways to thank you for this fantastic comment until I saw the word genius...so casually thrown in there as if it was a natural thing to say...but I am no genius...unless you insist...then I have no choice but to try to live up to those standards. :) Also...I am glad you enjoyed the trip through my eyes and hope that you keep wanting another ride. Appreciation exists here on a mucho grande type of level :) Cheers!!!!

MP style ... the hook catches and every word awakens some new particle of the brain, while the author draws the line tight ... the first line is enough to thrill, and what follows does not disappoint ... another intriguing write ... nicely done! -dh
