    Poem Commentary

    High School sucks, is crap, hates me, all of the scratched out words!

    The Phantom of Reality

    People who claim to know me,
    fall victim to my tricks.
    I've worn a mask,
    not even he knows who I am.

    My mask has kept me safe enough,
    from the sticks and stones words throw.
    My mask has cracks from all the beatings,
    My heart is still stone cold.

    For years I've clung to my mask,
    It was my only survival.
    Now I want to free myself,
     but i can't step out.
    I no-longer cling to my mask,
    instead it clings to me.

    Oh...it becomes so hard,,,well I kind of experience it.,.Always hiding my self to other people but in the process I gain no true friends...You will only have true and real friend if you are honest to your self and let that honesty radiates in your behavior and attitude...It is always true "Truth will set us free" and you will break the mask if you will be true to yourself and to others...Just take a risk ^_^ v

    Let go of it. I know it's hard. I've been there. And high school is hard but you can't let the mask define who you are. Let yourself come out and be free. Feel the freedom, it's wonderful.
