    The Phone

My thoughts keep going back to last night, my phone kept rining and ringing as I let someone else hold me tight.
I just couldn't wait anymore, it has been so long since you touch me with love, you make me feel like a whore!
It has been a few weeks now since I met this man. He is so gentle and loving when he takes my hand.
He kisses me tender like you use to do and when he whispers my name my blood runs hot as he tells me the things he wants to do.
But that DAMN phone kept ringing with your ring tone! Last nite as he licked my body from my head to my toes.
Then my mind started racing . What would you do if you only knew.
Would you simply walk away or would you beg me to stay.
I keep reminding myself we are not married and you have not always been true.So I let this man do what he do!
My body is weak but my mind is strong. He feels so good inside me but that stupid ringing made it feel wrong.
So tonite when I swing by his crib and he leads me to his bedroom. The only thing Im going to tell myself is "Turn off that DAMN Ringer you Damn FOOL!

Ha ha... Took you a while to get there, but you got it, eventually. You know what they say, better late than never. Good job, GG!

This poem made me wonder where I was last night, just kidding. I really ejoyed it. It sounds like such a true story. I could see it probrably more than I should have.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
