Poem Commentary

This is writen for those charmed by bad people and are never found.

The Preditor

She lies still, her eyes they stare.
once popular, with not one care.
Now stiff but not with the cold,
no more chances to grow old.

she thought she was grown,
if only she had known.
The new guy she would find,
had other things on his mind.

She met him on the Web
in a chatroom called " The Spiders Web"
What could it hurt,
to be a little flurt

He asked to see her for real,
maybe meet for a hot meal.
She said next week my parents are gone
I dont see how this could be wrong.

She gave him her address
and the color of her dress
He pulled up in a blacked out van
out to the him she ran

She giggled and smiled as he drove,
never saw him turn toward the cove.
her parents warnings not on her mind,
love is what she hoped to find.

He pulled to a stop beside the lake
looking out the widow she began to shake.
He put a hand on her thigh,
as she started to cry

She begged to leave
for him to set her free
He said soon it would be alright,
when I am done your soul will take flight.

The lake now quiet and still,
while the air takes on a deathly chill,
Pale fingers of moonlight shimmer down
a deathly beauty never to be found.

Here forever she will rest,
To rot in her torn up dress.
In her towering tomb of trees
as he promised her soul set free.

Here she lies still, her eyes they stare.
once popular, with not one care.
Now stiff but not with the cold,
no more chances to grow old.

Be careful chating on the net
You never know what you might get.

Thank you for all of your comments. This did not happen to me, but I felt others should be aware of what might happen and does happen alot.
