    The Reason

     It's not for attention
    It's not out of spite
    It's not because you didn't do right
    It's nothing against you
    I do it for me
    To set the pain and sorrow free
    The blades release
    The blood born ease
    Is as comforting as a summer breaze
    The cuts aren't deep
    They're very light
    The pain and blood let me know im alive
    If you don't understand it's alright
    As long as you're still here at the end of this blight

    My heart go out for you. Depression is so often swept under the rug and belittled, yet so many cry for help. Great write, yet so sad.

    Depression does hurt but it helps when you have someone to help you fight it.
