    Poem Commentary

i haven't written anything in months....let's see how this goes...

    the risk

    he said feel fast
    fall later
    hurt harder
    stay and let go
    a bridge forms
    a bridge falls
    stiff arms open
    and fall short
    and a witness
    to what remains
    holds fast
    to broken aims
    we just arrived
    we just left
    go back to simple
    go back to every-
    word he said
    a laugh
    a lie
    a laugh
    a laugh
    oh how i loathe you
how i knew when i met you
and how did i become you
    and somehow
    now i taste freedom
    soon gone
    soon gone
    only a breath
    only a sigh

Definitely different. In a good way of course. It's like poetry you would here someone recite a coffe house or something. Quite intreging. Well done.

methinks it goes well... original... mysterious...beautiful...

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
