    The Road to Nowhere

     Nauseated feelings
    Are so comfortable for me
    Letting go of trust that never was
    Only pretend.

    Sitting still is difficult
    When rage just hit the fan.

    Whispering these casual desires
    Now and then.
    You've thrown some bones for me to knaw on
    Pistol's in my side of bleeding wounds.

    Cycle round in winter time
    I slumber
    Covered secrets are unearthed and leaving
    Shattered fragments of a soul.

    Looking in the mirror making peace
    I feel no other need that rises over
    Health outside and from within.

    Pandora's box is open
    Hope is coming, separated from a string of strangled thoughts and deeds.

    The sky is blue yet purple on the inside
    Skeletons that dance inside the oven
    Glancing time to time to see if it is over.

    When we fall, we take a stand of shedding skin that covers nothing any more.
    I feel my tears that fall before my onion in the blender
    Layers open, stinging freely, changing form.

    Birdhouses are not for safety keeping
    Restless hours falling deeper in my shell.

    Decorations sitting pretty
    Are not only for their looks
    A pleasant filled disguise
    Arriving plenty.

    Flowing in this brook I bump on many jagged places
    Going to a road to nowhere
    Fearing death.

    Strip away the layers, if it's gone it's gone. Remove the shell and see if there is anything inside anymore. If it's empty fill it, or throw it away. We get what we give, If you keep covering it, your protecting it when it needs to be out. Let it be what it is, out in the open let the change come. Then you will see understanding or at least will be able to let it be, and without death have truth and be free. Write on...
