    The Roads to travel

I take a breath and study the sunset, hard
    Like someone starring into space
No breath lost, with total regard
the colors of the sunset are warm, the lining of the clouds of lace
I take a minute and look around
I see the seagulls flying over head
I feel my feet touching the sandy ground
The waves of water crashing and hitting the rocks ,like lead
    Searching to find life's meaning
I look up to the sky,, Nervously I pray , pleaseLord, within my eye,
Make ,all the roads I travel ,gold
    No more twists and turns
As my body ages, it gets frail and old
Let me walk through, let me learn
Give me the knowledge and the strength
To know which roads to take

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
