    The Sea

     Walking through
    This sea of life
    It's heavy-felt
    In waves of strife

    Beneath the field
    Of sorrows lay
    A grain of dust
    My feelings they

    are red
    but wet
    and soggy still

    The waves, they crash
    and darker still
    It's night...
    With glimmering moon.

    The night is long
    The day will soon
    Arise.

    I enjoyed this piece much. I scored a little lower than I would have because of the line "with glimmering moon." It breaks up the rhythm. Otherwise excellent.
