    The Soul's Connection

     My responses to you seem to linger in your mind.
    Thoughts and words you felt you provoked...
    the pattern of this life you only thought you designed.
    What you saw in me you swore I told.

    You forget that you already read those words out loud.
    They are written clearly on my heart.
    They burn in your soul because we are bound.
    My soul and yours create a perfect sound.

    How is it that we found comfort in the most uncomfortable of places?
    In eachother's company it's tense but safe.

    Words exchanged we found transcribed
    we already read them in eachother's eyes.
    We were stilled by the light when we found the connection,
    then somehow moved by eachother's convictions.
