Poem Commentary

The theater from my point of view.

The Theater

Lights illuminate the magical stage,
a theater where plays come alive.
The actors are players in this great game,
dancing across the stage in mid-flight.
Now there is no reality, only the fictional play,
once just words on paper, the show is brought to life.
The costumes are colorful, wild yet tame,
they have fairies and pixies and sprites.
And so ends our tour in this fabled realm,
in this land of no known strife,
For we now must take our leave,
and make room for new visitors to arrive.
