On the first step of faith
The Good Lord said to me,
A Daily Prayer will always
Set you free.
On the second step of faith
The Good Lord said to me,
My Hands will lead you
Through Patience, Forgiveness
and Understanding.
On the third step of faith,
The Good Lord said to me,
Believe in thy Father, Son
And Holy Ghost.
On the fourth step of faith
The Good Lord said to me,
May the four seasons help
Change your life’s tribulations.
On the fifth step of faith
The Good Lord said to me
I will send five friends to
Guide you to your vision of destiny.
On the sixth step of faith
The Good Lord said to me
Hear the six angels voices as they
Since of God’s love and dignity.
On the seventh step of faith
The Good Lord said to me
For I created the Earth in six days
But rested on the seventh day
Of Holy Praise!
On the eighth step of faith
The Good Lord said to me
May you walk the many miles of
Heaven’s road to enter the Holy Gates.
On the ninth step of faith
The Good Lord said to me
Live the life of my son’s blood
As He died on Calvary.
On the tenth step of faith
The Good Lord said to me
Remember in my book
Palsms 119:76 and John 3:16.
On the Eleventh step of faith
The Good Lord said to me
Forever raise your children in
My image and foundation of my strength.
On the twelfth step of faith
The Good Lord said to me
I will always be the light that
Builds your family.
