    • Very excited and very grateful. My son Michael will be coming back to American soil in about 12 days I want to thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes and strength.

    The Welcome Home

    Suddenly the pain is gone
    And darkness subsides.
    Surrounded by love
     And supported by angels
    The journey begins.
A feeling of peace replaces any fear.
    The moon and stars
Are there to light the way,
A soft glow for the soul to follow.

Cherubs peak over the edge of their nests
    On the silver-white clouds.
They are delighted to meet the soul
As it comes to the place
    Where God begins.
    "Welcome, welcome"
They call as they wave their chubby little hands,
"All is made ready.  We have been waiting for you."

    All of Heaven is rejoicing.
    Another has come home.
    The gate opens wide,
Inside are those who have gone before.
    Dogs are barking,
    Children are laughing,
    Music is playing,
    Such celebration!
    Welcome home my child,
So good to have you home.

This is touching, and true. I seen that myself, and you did it. This poem shows the light. You did a great job on it. God Bless. :)

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
