Tempy commented on The Wild Mud Of Sleep

As the trees are sensitive, brittle, and swallowed by winter’s bitter ghost, I, too, feel the empty lamp of the hidden sun within the chill's fullness.____________and the air is turbulent with fear, then stillness, then silence. The North wind is like a blunt object hitting me in the face with its cruel touch, its fingers like icicles: this wintry day has hurriedly eaten its way through the light,_______ favourite lines

Springsize commented on The Wild Mud Of Sleep

...and the day did stay, it did not ever go away, it was listed and cateloged, blazened across the electric sky of screens, first seen, felt, recognized as the great spirit as he made the day's need dive, That was thrilling... even though the cold crept in, because the day was much too short, and after the day did lay to rest awhile, the camera and the eye found the weight heavy, obscuring, untelling, like the dream from night. Your sorrow aches for the greatness to continue.... and... it does so. Even as you did speak in sound-less presence to the Hawk, and he did listen in quiet concentration of his eye... you were caught in the side, he then took you, with him, shortly, for the winged side of seeing... a ride with the hawk, that is some poetic walk, you immortalize his spirit here, and there is a big store in your dreams. I find everyone there, but I usually don't go calling.

thank you so much....

I can't help to wonder if the hawk stands for something, as he is fierce and starving.

all of us are fierce and starving, sometimes for the same things, other times for other things....thank you....

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
