    The Willie Lynch Syndrome

Willie Lynch is still alive today
People, listen to what I must sy
He wrote a speech 300 years or more years ago
what he was really doing was giving us a show
He predicted our future and I hate to say it's true
If you don't like me and I don't like you
He knew how to tear our black race apart
And his speech is something that dwells in my heart
Why must we always kill each other?
It makes no difference, sister or brother
As long as we kill those with the same skin
The Willie Lynch syndrome is happening again
Turn the light against dark, The dark against light
As long as we do this we are proving him right
Turn the wife against husnand, husband against wife
Then we wonder why our lives are filled with strife
Turn the young against the old, the old against the young
Then throw them some "crack" and a couple of guns
Watch them go crazy and lose their soul
Cause I'm Willie Lynch and I'm In control
People, My People, We must stop this curse
I'm tired of funerals and following the hearse
The jails and prisons are modern plantations
Yeah, Willie Lynch is still ruling our nation
We are a special people, we are from royality
Teach our children about, Love, respect & loyalty
We are God's Chosen people and we are never alone
So, Lets put a stop to the Willie Lynch Syndrome!!!

Yes you got it people will hate to hear the truth yet let it be told thru poetry of a new form, so many artist of the past are getting old and its time to recreate and dust off there books to mold and teach our children about the Willie lynch Syndrome and move on to what God has planned for us.

Wow, that's really powerful stuff. Though it does drag on a little, i can clearly see your message, i can practically hear your passion when i read this. It's complex in it's simplicity, keep up the good work

Disregard the ratings - this is by far a 10 without a shadow of a doubt. I loved it - the truth shall set you free - let us keep speaking the truth regardless - refusing to be a sellout - giving people what they want to hear - continue to give them what they need to hear - even if they refuse to listen - they are held accountable because they were told by you, me, and every other writer God has sent to touch their lives...Amen. Nice I am one who belives in love you should read hope and love hate and war on mines if people put as much into love as they do hate the world would be a better place/PEACE

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
