The World Biggest Lies!

Poem Commentary

In the book titled, "They Came Before Columbus", a lot is told of evidence found and new archeological findings and records that Kings of Africa have sent very large expeditions to different parts of the world, centuries before Columbus ever set foot in the Americas. More and more evidence have been discovered to establish these beliefs. Soon just like many other books that are deceptive, that paints black people and black civilization as people only fit to work on plantations or do manual labor, we will see much more if we choose to read for ourselves and teach our children that we are descended from these great kings and explorers, not what white or European writers of then and now tries to portray as Africans as a people. Through the internet it is easy to find documents unearthed that paints the European historical account of black people in the world and in Africa in a very different light.

The World Biggest Lies!

Columbus left the shores of the country of Spain,
Exploring regions unknown and knowledge to be gained,
to learn of people of these new worlds,
To harvest gold and silver and the rarest of pearls,
For his King and Queen of Imperial Spain,
Whose colonial ambitions of enrichment were vain,
And what proceeded changed a people forever,
By a so called discoverer that thought he was so clever.

Columbus began to record his deeds,
His voyages, adventures and the Kings solemn creed,
These people that you find must be christianized!
But he was least interested in their faith as they died.
He did not write or acknowledge the fact,
That explorers went before him to these worlds that were black,
In these new worlds the indians spoke of black men,
And traded with them cloth made of Kente and cotton.

Also, gold was traded too,
So Columbus did not tell his King all that he knew,
for more than two hundred years before,
Two thousand ships left Africas shores,
And saw this new world with indian kings,
And taught them to build pyramids so astonishing.
Now revealed, centuries of one sided lies told
In writings published under European control.

These African Kings and tradesmen,
Visited the Mayans and Incas then,
And told of their visits with the Aztecs too,
Yet many years we're misled and without a clue,
That our African ancestors came to these shores,
And traded with Indians long, long before,
Columbus was born in his Genoese town,
Now saying "he's discovered", is deserving of a clown.

He landed in Jamaica in 1492,
In a strange society he did not knew,
These Arawak people were so peaceful that he saw,
Not suspecting that Columbus was a thiefing outlaw.
He enslaved these people and thrashed them for gold,
And his men then raped them historians have told.
Spreading disceases to inhabitants enslaved,
Very few escaped to the mountains and caves.

This is a true lesson to teach our kids,
Columbus is no discoverer, by a spoon or a bib!
What he saw was visited by Africans before,
Archeological findings have made this sure.
Africans have taught the Incas their style,
Of beautiful writings and drawings with files,
They taught them the science of building their tombs,
And their mighty pyramids as eternal homes.

 Disappointed at the outcome financially,
Columbus and his thugs returned to the sea,
He landed in Cuba and stole it for Spain,
Where he returned for glory and ended up in chains,
Don Nicholas de Ovando one of the King's henchmen,
Replaced Columbus and shattered his plans,
I can safely say he discovered no where,
That people inhabited, but was forced to share.

So in the books of history many have been tricked,
And we must dismantle brick by brick,
That no one will believe that backward tale,
And let the truth be known, that we can't afford to fail.

Thanks, and I want to mention that the perception of black people have for centuries not being good. Black people were circumnavigating the globe very long before Columbus. One example is the Olmec People of Ancient Mexico, whose civilization dates back to 1300 B.C., West African people such as the Moors who were winning many battles against the Roman Empire, and was visiting many parts of the world many centuries before Columbus went anywhere. The idea that black people could not build seaworthy ships and travel that far was a racist ideology taught by European teachers and is now being refuted by historical and archeological facts. As more and more evidence is excavated, the art and culture of Africans are showing up many places around the world up to more than a thousand years before Europeans were able to build a boat. The Egyptian (Nubian Dynasties) Kings were very skilled navigators and were traveling around the world many centuries before Columbus.

All I want to establish is that Christopher Columbus or Christophe' Colombo, as he's called in Spanish is not a real discover, and what is really comical is that the Roman Church has made a saint of him, though he went to and steal and enslave the Indians of the New World.

Here's one of my popular verses: Disappointed at the outcome financially, Columbus and his thugs returned to the sea, He landed in Cuba and stole it for Spain, Where he returned for glory and ended up in chains, Don Nicholas de Ovando one of the King's henchmen, Replaced Columbus and shattered his plans, I can safely say he discovered no where, That people inhabited, but was forced to share.

Yes I was well aware of the archeolgical facts of this write, never the less it was based on facts known from history provided at the time until archelogical facts disproved what was written and taught. Just my interpretation from reading this interesting piece.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
