    THE WORLD

    The World:

    People lusting after things unreal

Only trusting what we cannot feel

    Filling our souls with infatuation

Doing anything to get a lil' gratification

Flushing our morals down the drain

Taking drugs to numb the pain

Yeah we are all so comfortable

Aren't our lives so damn pleasurable

No one knowing we are so inexplicable

    Our real lives so incomprehensable

    We all wear our masks

    Because reality we cannot grasp

So we put on a fake smile, as though it were true

Knowing all the while, underneath we're confused

Why not reach out to someone who cares

Maybe because these days there's nobody there

The world letting money take over our souls

More like satan, our hearts less whole

Why must we pay for a helping hand

Let's come together and make a stand

We are all in this world together

Why not help and love one another?
