    THERE WILL COME A TIME

    There will come a time when the morning dew dissipates with the rising of the sunshine.

    When the dawn of a new day come forward and yesterday is left behind.

    When our minds breaks free of last night`slumber is an awakening sign.

    When understanding and wisdom takes places in the recess of our mind.

    When the truth becomes the light and leaves no-one blind.

    When the Creator`s love nutures life as a gift to all mankind.

    When Patience becomes the pathway to happiness that we all must find.

    When fondness blossoms into love like a bottle of vintage wine.

    When ' I LOVE YOU" is said with passion and sincerity and not as a punchline.

    This will be our time both yours and mine.

    I love the tone of this, it resonates beautifully. I could almost hear someone reading it, the rhythm was powerful and constant. Let us hope that this time is soon. Thank you for sharing, Narrator

    I'm not so sure the word "punchline" works in this poem. How about "sincerity so sublime" I love the use of images in this poem. Just a thought. A poet friend// RH Peat
