These days

These Days
The day is clear,
and the sun shone brilliantly.
As I followed the path my hand has set forth.
Each stride that my body makes
brings pangs of discomfort.

The guardians of this world trail overhead,
dropping a soft sweet molecure of moisture.
The droplet is tasted upon my lips.
Now my eye lids
are reminded of their despair.
As my tear falls,
My lips also taste my own grief.
It's quit simuliar to those of the heavens.
I realize that grief is shared,
and I am no longer in dismay alone!

I really enjoyed this poem. You were able to catch several sences in your writing. the sight, smell, and even tastes of not only tears but dispair.

Thank you I am glad you liked it.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
