These My Darkest Days

These My Darkest Days

Sitting in the dark I am weeping
Weeping and weeping but never sleeping
Never sleeping for to close my eyes is to see my pain
I lie awake to hide from my tears
My week moments my loved ones lost
Ne're I wish to see it every night again and again
Nor to feel again my darkest fear
Hurt, scared, sad, and forever feeling alone
A hatred wells within me and a darkness fills my soul
Till I am all but gone
Will you save me
Or will I waist away
Promise me you'll stay
And tell me that you love me in these my darkest days

weak moments... Oh, wow, this is very deep, dark and lonely. Pleading for your love to save you. Loved it!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
