    Things I Walk Away From

     A distant love
    A push and shove
    A tone in a voice
    That leaves me no choice

    My heart breaking
    People just taking
    And not giving
    People who just stop living

    People who don't want
    You to be around
    For them I leave
    Without a sound

    People who say
    They really care
    But have no time
    With you to share

    A smell in the air
    That leaves me in despair
    People who pretend
    But really are not a friend

    People who think they are God
    And think they are above the law
    People that are completely obsessed
    And leave me totally depressed

    People who just don't ever care
    Whose lives have nothing to share
    Especially those who abuse others
    Their children, their fathers
    Or even their mothers
