    Poem Commentary

    Many mothers remember the little games played with their children growing, becoming a memory within us. This poem is dedicated to my mother and many mothers who have played this game. It continues on. Mary passed away recently leaving behind her love for others inbeded in my soul and heart forever.Thank you mom for being the best a mother could be,for being there for me. I love you.I could not have asked for a better mother .We will be alright rest in peace.

    Think of Me

     Think of me
    When the morning dew sets upon the leaves
    I am the sparkle in your eyes
    I am the dew without tears
    I am the morning sun that sets upon your face
    Feel the warmth of your love 
    Think of me when the first twig grows
    The dandelions flows
    I'm the butter on your nose
    Think of me with a smile on your face
    For I am happy where I am at

    Think of me with peace of mind
    Remembering Jesus promised to be with me
    Think of me with happiness
    No pain do I feel now

    When you are feeling empty and lost without me
    Remember I am with  family and friends gone before me
    My Lord Jesus loves me
    The dew will sparkle
    The sun will shine
    The weeds and flowers will grow
    Remember me with a smile on your face
    I am the butter on your nose


    I love you Mother. I dedicate this to you and all mothers.

    A touching work dedicated to a mother. Concise, and also good use of aliteration. I apolgize for taking so long to read the poem,however, I am having PC problems that need to be resolved. As to this poem I rate a 10
