This desert feeling

This desert feeling

Lonely and tired,
I hunger and thirst in vain,
walking aimlessly through
this hot desert plain.
Wary and worn,
clothes tattered and torn,
hoping for something to fill my
insatiable hunger and thirst,
unknowing of whether or not
I would die first.
Why am i here suffering through this?
These thoughts cross my mind,
all for love, or is it that it's what
hope to find.
Can a love that makes me feel
such a yearning for lack,
be worth all this toil and me
breaking my back?
Desires within me to be filled
with precious care,
a longing, an aching for you to be
here,
here in my world making it ours,
you and me blossoming like
beautiful flowers,
but all beautiful things need precious
care and attention,
like all women have the need for
love and affection.

I love it. You could not have communicated any better the needs, wants, and desires of a woman's heart. Beautiful write the longing is in every word. Wonderful show of expression........E

as with all things, they must be taken care of or they will not survive, the most important of these is love, for with out a touch, a look, and a care it will not bloom, a slight caress works wonders and the desert will bloom, well done

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
