    • Very excited and very grateful. My son Michael will be coming back to American soil in about 12 days I want to thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes and strength.

    This Morning

    I woke to sparkled moonlight
    In the yard.
    The morning moisture,
    More mist than rain,
Had settled on each leaf and grass blade
    Twinkling
As if new and gem encrusted.
    The moon sat high above,
Resting on the peak of the roof,
    prepared to slide down
Into his bed of downy white clouds
    Waiting on the horizon.
    He yawned and stretched
    and smiling,
    Sank into his soft retreat,
    Already dreaming
    Starlit skies and moon glow.

Love the playfulness of it. Everbody loves the Mark Twain approach. It makes reading an true adventure.

I have seen this picture many times, but never thought to put it into words. Beautiful, mlea. I'll probably see it again tomorrow before I leave for work. I'll step outside with my cup of coffee, and think of you. ( smile ) TS

Complete, poetic, enchantment! I could feel this piece deep in my heart as I read. Almost like a sweet song you tell to a child at bedtime. Simply beautiful in every way!10

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
