    This Wish

     "Yesterday is History, Tomorrow a Mystery, Today is a Gift, Thats why it's called the Present"

    The guide you seek,

    Ore of times gone by

    Shall meet you at

    The gates of lore.

    Olden soul

    Do not hesitate

    never fall short

    From all your goals.

    Time waits

    For no man,

    So they say,

    Bitter and foolish

    The broken seed.

    Plant it wisely

    So that you shall see

    The end of this path:

    March into eternity.

    Dreamless sleep

    Shall welcome you,

    Side-by-side

    A musical serenade.

    Dance in rhythm

    To life’s beat-

    Soothing, peaceful-

    Now you may sleep.

    Better days

    Await the soul

    Who in battle

    Took courage

    -faith

    And love within

    The boundaries of

    A broken heart:

    Weeping alone within the dark.

    I feel like I was sitting by the campfire at night and you told this poem, this story and as a child I had to ponder its meaning and see what it would behold for myself........ :)
