    Those Eyes

     Those eyes, how they looked at me
    They looked right at me
    Back to innocence
    A clouded memory

    I stand helpless
    You can’t see my burning light
    Through violets, blues, and reds
    The clouds with color
    Swirl in your mind and eyes

    Oh those eyes! Oh how they stare,
    Seem pleadingly to ask
    Please oh please
    Please… bring me back.

    I cradle your head
    To try to hold your soul
    Don’t worry, don’t worry
    Just don’t let go…

    I know you’ve lived
    I know you’ve loved
    I know you’ve cared
    I know you’ve placed…
    A seed inside my heart

    You can be strong
    You don’t want to go
    Shh, don’t waste your breath on me
    I know, I know, I know

    You fight with the innocence of a child
    With a life full on ahead
    Don’t you know? Do you know?
    How you’ve gracefully grown old?

    lol yep... this one is very close to my heart, i have a hard time dealing with death, I write and it just comes out. I appreciate your comments and encouragement. I'm glad you liked it.
