    Thoughts

     Which is the hardest thing to do,
    An action done or a word uttered?
    Combining both the word and thought
    Constructed soundly makes me fluttered.

    But as word leaves the gaping mouth
    The action done brings forth emotions
    Saying what is truly meant
    Showing, above all devotion.

    If words were weapons of destruction,
    Feelings are much worse than that.
    Silence bitter, senseless writing
    Making ones' soul drench'ed wet.

    Hitting home is no solution
    To this check-mate situation.
    All I ask is your forgiveness
    That is my gratification.
