Through the Wall to the Heart

Let my words be an extension

Of who I am on the inside

    Exposed to your eyes

    For approval

    Not that I need it

    But that I desire it

Sometimes I slip through your wall

    In those moments

    Your completely relaxed

There’s no defenses or lack of trust

    No need for them

I didn’t come to conquer, use or abuse

    I came for your Heart

    To meet the very you

    And we in turn

    Played on the moon

    Like children

    We had fun

No hidden agendas or alterative motives

Just two Hearts roaming free in the wind

Like two horses through a pasture

    I’ve come to say hello

    Now that we’ve met

    It’s up to you

    With a bow

    I bid you a-dew

    Don’t forget me

    Don’t keep me waiting

    Remember that feeling

    That connection

    In the Heart

    Judge my character there

    And only there

As that’s where and how I see you

In the Heart of the Heart
