    Throughout My Day

    Throughout my day
    There are thoughts of you
Your face is there in every view

    The way you talk
    And even your smile
    Brings joy to my soul
    It drives me wild

My Heart quickens with every beat
The feelings go from my head to my feet
My soul cries out it wants to play

These feelings just will not go away
I yearn to see your face once more
Looking forward to the touch your hand
I await your footsteps at my door

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
