    Thunder Sticks

My legs are sticks of wonder
    Limbs of magical thunder
No wonder you can’t stay away
I tried to make you leave
But you kept coming back to me
    And now I’m shaking
My legs are shaking for you
My heart is breaking for you
So we can get inside each others minds
    Just one more time
And then you’ll try and go again
But this thunder-love will never end

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
