    Time and Time Again

    Mom where’s this?
    Mom where’s that?
    Mom help me with this?
Mom how do you do that?

    Time and time again
we come to you for love.
You give us more then enough
    and then some.

    Time and time again
we come to you for guidance.
You lead us down our path
and pick us back up when ever we fall.

    Time and time again
we come running from our fears.
    You fight away the monsters
    and wipe away our tears.

    Time and time again
we want a warm place to sleep.
    You give us a blanket
and a warm place by your side.

    Time and time again
We wish for the best mom.
Then you come and smother us in love.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
