    You stare at me with cold eyes
    and I can see the goodbye...

    I'm just a memory to your face
    my love you want to erase...

    How can I hold my head up high
    when all I feel is your lies...

    Why did you forsake our love
    when I would have died for both of us...

     
    time...
    time...
    time...can erase the pain
    if our love is to remain
    believe my words for they are true
    I will always and forever love you

    I came to you today and you pushed me away
    trying to show you my soul asking you to stay...

    Today you said "stop with your words"
    your tongue it slices like a sword...

    Now I'm left in pieces bleeding on the tile
    tears they soak an empty doorway where I used to smile...


    time...
    time...
    time...can erase the pain
    if our love is to remain
    believe my words for they are true
    I will always and forever love you
