    Poem Commentary

    This poem...or at least the title...is for the dyslexics in the audience. Some of us grew up in such dysfunctional environments that we only understand that with time, wounds won't heal...they only increase. However, I bring you great news...with the love of Jesus, and God the Father, there is healing...for the mind, body, and soul. Seek His agape love and never again suffer through time wounds.

    Time Wounds

    Scraped my knee again
      fell from my bike
    you held on tight
      let go in spite

    Tear from your eye
      each time I try
    you want the best for me
      if only I could see

    There is much in store
      your heart holds so much more
    time wounds all heals
      God’s agape love reveals

    His solemn truth I desire
      deep inside unquenched fire
    a lone whippoorwill croons
      agape heals all wounds
